Next Board Meeting: The next Board meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at At Witz End, 38501 Lakeshore Blvd. at 7:00 p.m.

Next Membership Meeting: The next membership meeting will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2010, at At Witz End, 38501 Lakeshore Blvd. at 7:00 p.m.

Last Meeting: President John Abercrombie called the 2/4/2010, meeting to order at 7:20 p.m.

Secretary’s Report: Captain Joe Takacs read the minutes of the January 7, 2009 meeting. The minutes were approved as read.

Treasurer’s Report: Captain Roger St. Clair read the Treasurer’s Report and the Fishing Tournament Reports for January and all were approved as read. The brochure is ready for the printer. All members who paid their dues on time are listed in the brochure. If dues were not paid by the end of January, your membership will be cancelled and the Coast Guard will be notified. If you wish to reinstate your membership, you will be treated as a new member and will need to re-enroll in the drug consortium and take a pre-enrollment drug test at your expense.

Drug Officer’s Report: All is fine at this time. Make sure Roger has a number where you can be reached at all times. If Captain St. Clair is unable to contact you by phone, IBET will consider the test as a failure and you will be removed from our membership and the drug consortium.

Committee Reports: Reverse Raffle: The date is Friday, March 5, 2010. There are about 68 tickets left. All members are encouraged to purchase a ticket. Tickets are available by contacting Captain Jim Garrett at 440-669-5344.

Unfinished Business: None

New Business: Captain Abercrombie has Ohio Wildlife Federation raffle tickets for a CVA rifle, $5 ea. or 5 for $20. The Charter Captains Conference is on March 6. Registration is $40. Captain Abercrombie will drive. Contact him if you need a ride. Contact Jim Kray at 216-346-5555 if you need any printing. Captain Virgil Tent will send an e-mail to all Captains with information on the Lake Erie Walleye Derby, May 1 to November 30, 2010. Tim Wiedner has web hosting. Contact him at 216-406-4432. Captain John Gribble has Contender Trolling spoons available for $3.25. Contact him at 440-479-5185.

50/50 Raffle: Brett Greer won $50 and $50 for the club.

Attendance Raffle: Captain John Uridel was not present. The Attendance Pot is now worth $250.
